Our Family Ranch Near Brookings, South Dakota
We're Tyson and Kendra Langland, third-generation cattle producers. Our cattle are raised on our family ranch near Bruce, South Dakota, just outside Brookings. We raise our own grass-fed Hereford and Angus cattle, and everything we sell starts with that herd: 100% grass-fed beef, plus the tallow balm, soap, and sugar scrub we make from their tallow.

How We Raise Our Cattle
Our cattle graze pasture through the grazing season and eat high-quality hay through the winter. They're never fed grain, and they're never given growth hormones or synthetic insecticides. Any animal that needs antibiotics is removed from our beef program. We provide chelated minerals, sea salt, and protein at key times of the year to keep the herd healthy.
We believe in working with nature, not against it. Caring well for the land and the animals is at the heart of everything we do.
From Our Herd to Your Jar
We render the tallow ourselves and handcraft every jar of balm in small batches. Our balms are made with grass-fed tallow and organic jojoba oil, and the scented ones get their scent from third-party tested essential oils. We also make tallow cleansing bars and a whipped tallow sugar scrub.

Grass-Fed Beef by the Quarter, Half, or Whole
We started selling beef in 2020. Today we direct-market 40–50 beef a year and have served more than 120 families across South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa.
