These terms apply to your use of langlandcc.com and any purchase you make from Langland Cattle Company ("we," "us," "our"), Brookings, South Dakota. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

2. Products and descriptions

We make our tallow skincare, soap and scrubs by hand in small batches. Color, texture and scent may vary slightly from batch to batch and from photos. We try to keep descriptions, ingredients, and prices accurate, but errors can happen. We reserve the right to correct errors, and to cancel and refund any order placed at an incorrect price.

3. Skincare disclaimer

Our skincare products are cosmetics. They aren't intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and statements about them haven't been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Product descriptions are general information, not medical advice. Always read the ingredient list, which may include essential oils, honey, oats, and plant oils. Patch-test before use, and stop using a product if irritation occurs. If you have a skin condition or allergy, are pregnant, or plan to use a product on an infant, check with your healthcare provider first.

4. Orders, pricing and payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars. We may refuse or cancel any order, for example if a product is unavailable or we suspect fraud, and we'll refund any payment for a canceled order. Discount codes can't be combined unless stated, and may have expiration dates and conditions. Wholesale pricing and wholesale discount codes are for approved wholesale accounts only, and we may cancel retail orders that use them.

5. Shipping and risk of loss

Shipping and pickup terms are in our Shipping Policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand your order to the carrier, or when you pick up your order. We'll still help with lost, damaged or melted items as described in our Shipping and Refund Policies.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site belongs to Langland Cattle Company or is used with permission. That includes our name, logos, photos, and text. You may not copy or use it without our written permission.

7. Reviews and submissions

If you submit a review, photo, or comment, you give us permission to display it on our site and in our marketing. Please keep submissions honest and respectful. We may remove content that isn't.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Langland Cattle Company isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our site or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Brookings County, South Dakota, unless otherwise required by law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time by posting the new version on this page. Orders are governed by the terms in effect when they were placed.
